The story begins when Alba Montiel and her brother, Javier, win two tickets to Aruba. This is the place where Alba meets Renny Donoso, a Salsa musician who's arrived to become famous, but ends up as a waiter with his friend, Franco. When the summer is over, Alba and Renny must go home. What they don't know is that destiny will cross their paths again in the streets of Caracas, where Renny lives as the boss of "Los Salseros" group. His group has its own nemesis, "Los Propios" are the ones to make their lifes a living hell, being led by Eduardo Rivas. The story gets more and more complicated when love blossoms for Eduardo's little sister, Fabiana, who's fallen madly in love with Rene Velazco who's a Salsero. And Rene doesn't have it so easy either because his little sister is secretly dating Alex, a member of "Los Propios". As the story evolves, we see break-ups and make-ups, fights and childhood memories... and of course, lots of music!
